SharePoint: How to Cancel a Workflow

  1. Locate the workflowed document in SharePoint.
  2. Place your cursor over the document to bring up the drop-down menu.
  3. From the menu, select (click on) Workflows.
  4. Click on the workflow listed below the Running Workflows section (e.g. Approval).
  5. Click on Cancel this workflow.
